How do you really get to know someone?  Ask Hannah, she knows a lot about Giles.  But Giles knows nothing about Hannah.

A small village in the South East of England.  When London City stockbroker Giles spends his millions on the village manor he is unaware of the effect his presence will have at the heart of the village community.  He employs local girl Hannah as his housekeeper, expecting her to stay in the shadows - but her influence extends far beyond anything he imagined.
